My name is Claire Rubach.

 

 

I am an alumna of UCSC and hold a Masters Degree in the field

of Social Work. I have decades of counseling experience and now have the pleasure of working in my new business, "The Home Weeder."

 

I have recently retired from Cabrillo College where I had the honor and pleasure of working as an Academic Counselor and Instructor for the past 14 years. Prior to Cabrillo College, I worked in the same capacity at Hartnell College in Salinas. I have held a variety of other counseling jobs ranging from working within the Health Services Agency for the County of Santa Cruz to Family and Child Counselor at EMQ in San Jose.

 

Working in my new professional position, my passion is creating order and clarity in your home or work. I offer organizational assistance without judgment or shame. All jobs are honored as 100% confidential and private services.

 

Every job I do for people is unique. Sometimes the tasks can be very straight-forward and relatively smooth. Sometimes, for so many reasons, people find the process difficult and at times overwhelming. What sets me apart as a professional home and business organizer and declutterer, is my background in counseling. Using strategies from my two professions, I help people move forward effectively and find satisfying solutions to challenges and roadblocks.
